2 Artists will be selected for:

A 2 week Duo residency as part of CloverMill Artist Residency’s international residency programme in The Netherlands, 11-24th May 2026.

The Residency will conclude with an end of residency presentation in the CloverMill Gallery Space curated by Jennifer Smith and Thom Oosterhof.

  • All applicants should be aware that if selected they must be available to participate on the dates (11-24th ) May 2026 for a 2 week period.
  • The Residency is provided free of charge. Each artist is provided with private onsite accomodation with a shared shower.
  • Artists have 24 hour access to the studio space.
  • WiFi
  • Bicycles are available for each artist.
  • Artists are responsible for their own transportation, materials and food for the duration of the residency. We will assist you in applying for funding.

Thom Oosterhof is an independent curator based in Amsterdam. His curatorial projects
champion our future voices within the contemporary space.
Working with recent graduates, mid-career & established artists, his projects emphasise
conversations and ideas within the contemporary dialogue. He states, “As a curator, I have
a responsibility to contribute. to translate the ideas, challenges and voices of our
generation into meaningful contexts. through painting, sculpture, installation and
performance, art has a way of communicating that goes beyond words. my job is to let the
message ring loud.
As a curator, writer and advisor, he has worked with contemporary art galleries, institutions,
collections and registered companies across the globe.
He has curated exhibitions internationally with galleries such as NBB Gallery (Berlin)
Gerhard Hofland (Amsterdam), NightCafe Gallery (London), Monti8 (Rome), Marian Cramer
(Amsterdam), Hurst Contemporary (London), Le Mont Art Space (Taiwan) , with platforms
such as 24HDROP and Candid House, and has upcoming projects with Ruzy Gallery
(Istanbul) and Gaia Art Space (Hong Kong).
Additionally, he has worked on several unique curatorial projects such as the curation /
acquisition of works for a major international hotel group, a graduation show for students of
the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam and has contributed curatorial statements for various
exhibitions.
